The bed is made from Red Oak and is a king size. The four posts
are 2"x 4"s glued together and planned to make 3 1/2"  squares by
83" long. Then put on the lathe and turned. The head and foot
boards are made from quarter sawed 1" Red Oak. The head board
has a carved design. Finished with a light oak stain with
polyurethane over the stain.

This is the corner of the bed frame,
the brass rod in the board is what
the bed bolt screws into and the
wood knob on the post covers the
head of the bolt that goes into the
other side.
This cradle is made from Red Oak and
finished with light oak stain with
polyurethane. It is sized to accept a standard
size crib mattress. It can be taken apart for
easy moving and storage.
This is a queen size bed made from cherry. The head and foot boards
are curly cherry and the four posts are glued up. This bed has a hand
rubbed finish that I mix myself.
